Renault Servicing Coolant Information

Coolant is the fluid which prevents the engine from overheating, transferring the heat produced by the engine to other devices that use or dissipate it. Coolant is also designed to lubricate the waterpump, have anti-corrosive agents in to stop corrosion in the system and antifreeze to prevent freezing up of the coolant system which could cause engine damage (ours goes down to -21°C). Over time the coolant breaksdown stopping it from being effective..

Renault recommends that the coolant is changed every 4 years or 72,000 miles whichever comes sooner. With the extreme weather that we are experiencing we would recomend getting your coolant sooner rather than later. Why not take advantage of our special sale price?
