Police have issued warnings to Burnley residents after vandals damaged several cars.

10 cars parked near to Scott Park were reported as having long, deep scratch marks along the side.

Residents were left furious on return to their vehicles the next morning.

Local Police man PC John Fisher said: "This is mindless vandalism and the people responsible need to be caught."
